Position Title: Painting Contractor General Manager
Location: Portland/Vancouver

Job Summary: The General Manager will oversee all aspects of Diverse Works' painting operations. This role requires effective communication, strategic oversight, and adherence to company protocols, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality results across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Maintain consistent communication with estimating, office, and field teams.
- Oversee the time-tracking app and approve time sheets.
- Adhere to and enhance Diverse Works' systems and processes, ensuring team alignment.
- Oversee the daily operations of painting projects.
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple painting projects from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to ensure timely completion.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage budgets for all projects.
- Analyze hour reports to make decisions for improved profitability.
- Prepare cost-to-complete reports for work in progress (WIP) and billings.
- Approve expenditures and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and manage painting staff and subcontractors.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure high employee morale.
Customer Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and address any concerns promptly.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality control and excellent service.
- Assist in recruiting potential new clients.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Resolve any issues related to project quality and workmanship.
Qualifications:

Working Conditions:
- This position may require occasional evening and weekend work to meet project deadlines.
- Commuting to multiple project sites across PDX/Vancouver Metro areas (Hillsboro, Salem, Ridgefield)
- You will be expected to use a time tracker so we can bill time to jobs, As much as possible.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, heights).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to painting.

- $70,000 per year at $34.00
