Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and directing recreation programs tailored to meet the specific needs of each resident.
- Maintaining residents' quality of life by providing activities and community contacts.
- Arranging transportation for residents to participate in life-enriching programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one programming for residents who require individualized support.
- Participating in reviews of individual Residents' Care Plans and documenting activity progress.
- Organizing quarterly special events that bring residents, families, and friends together.
- Familiarity with the Adult Care Home Residents' Bill of Rights and supporting residents in exercising these rights.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to instruct and communicate effectively with residents, as well as direct and perform various activities in response to their diverse needs.
