Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Training. As a CNA, you will play a critical role in providing direct care to residents/patients, working alongside our experienced Certified Nursing Assistants to ensure the highest level of quality care.
- Provide personal care assistance to residents/patients, including bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
- Assist with resident/patient needs and comforts, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Complete all assignments directed by the training course instructor, including exercises and hands-on learning activities.
- Communicate effectively with residents/patients, families, and nursing team members to ensure confidence and quality of care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A willingness to learn and a passion for caring for residents and patients at their point of need.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work positively and effectively with residents/patients, families, community members, volunteers, and Diversicare team members.
- The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Demonstrated basic computer knowledge and an aptitude to learn company applications.
