Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children requiring early autism behavior intervention, implementing treatment plans designed to improve their quality of life. You will collaborate assigned therapist to provide effective interventions and support, ensuring adherence to best practices in applied behavior analysis.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
- Provide direct patient care, utilizing behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect treatment plan data to monitor progress and effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with therapist to support the needs of children with behavioral challenges.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral health.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a clinical, educational, or home setting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices, including experience in behavioral therapy.
- Understanding of special education frameworks and the ability to work with children with developmental delays.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining medical documentation and data collection.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality as mandated by HIPAA.

Pay: $15.35 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
