Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician

Diversified Control is a custom metal and plastics manufacturing entity that has been in operation for over 40 years. We employ a number of Injection Molding machines in the range of 100 to 1300 tons. Our main products are enclosures of all sizes for the telecommunications industry.

We seek a mechanically inclined, hands on Process Technician responsible for machine set up, start up, process monitoring and basic documentation.

This person should have demonstrated capabilities dealing with plastic injection molding, structural foam process, solid mechanical knowledge of related machines, and continuous improvements efforts.

We are looking for an individual who can assist in identifying process related issues and provide technical guidance and corrective measures that minimize downtime and interruption of the production schedule. The ideal candidate can proactively contribute, evaluate, and document ideas for continuous improvement and good quality standards.

This person should possess good mechanical skills, performing some preventative maintenance on the machines as required, assist with limited mold changes (as we only run our own product), maintain the work area in a neat and orderly fashion, and exercise authority to stop production if non-conforming product or process problems are evident.

We would like to speak with people who have good communication skills, with the capability to analyze a situation and identify the root cause of issues to suggest a course of action and evaluate results.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
