Job Title: Inside & Outside Sales Representative
We are seeking a motivated Inside & Outside Sales Representative to acquire new sales, manage and grow a territory, and provide excellent customer service. The role involves cold calling, sales visits, handling inquiries, and promoting products to both potential and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Interaction:
- Develop and maintain customer relationships within your territory
- Respond to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries
- Provide product information, quotations, and sales orders
- Conduct product demonstrations and address customer needs
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, and differences from competitors
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
Territory Development:
- Generate leads through cold calling and sales visits
- Build sales in new and existing areas
- Travel as needed to meet with customers and dealers
- Attend trade shows and assist with show arrangements
Administrative & Data Entry:
- Accurately enter customer and sales data into the system
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sales Manager
- Track follow-up activities and sales progress
Collaboration & Growth:
- Participate in sales meetings and provide ideas for growth
- Assist in the setup of new dealers and provide training
- Work closely with technical staff to ensure proper information flow
Customer Retention:
- Perform follow-up visits or calls to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction
- Coordinate after-sales service and repair scheduling
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in sales or territory management
- Experience in transportation or trucking industry is a plus
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and internet research)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
