Position Summary & Responsibilities
The Manager, Cloud Solutions will provide administration, configuration, troubleshooting, disaster recovery, and other planning/design support for cloud infrastructure, and user identity.
Special focus will be placed on:
- Participates in the design and planning of complex cloud server environments including STIG hardening, Backup, Disaster Recovery and High Availability, Entra ID, roles and permissions, service accounts and principals.
- Manages and maintains Microsoft Azure platform-specific technologies including Just-In-Time resource access, Privileged Identity Management, multi-factor authentication, conditional access policies, managed identities, and application proxies.
- Manages and maintains Azure IaaS, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes services, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Application gateway, Azure load balancer, Logic Apps, and Azure Data Factory.
- Manages automation/integration between multiple IT applications.
- Manages Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot user access to systems and applications including Remote Desktop Services and Azure Virtual Desktops.
- Work with application owners to provide technical support, guidance, system designs and recommendations based on application requirements.
- Creates and maintains architecture, high-level design, and process workflow documentation.
- Proficient in technical problem-solving techniques while installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows/Linux systems and servers.
- Must be fast learner and open to learning new tools and technologies.A creative thinker and willing to explore new ways to achieve desired results.
- Works closely with various teams within the IT organization to ensure the quality and delivery of assigned task(s) and project(s).
- Continually seek ways to automate redundant functions to improve quality and efficiencies of tasks.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8 years of experience in the design and implementation of Microsoft Windows server environment both physical and virtual
- Broad Active Directory Domain Services background managing privileged access, software restriction, LDAP query, and Windows authentication
