The PMO Director at Diversified is instrumental in fostering a culture of accountability and consistent project and program management practices, ultimately delivering measurable business outcomes. This role is pivotal in driving cross-functional alignment, enhancing business process management, and implementing enterprise-wide Integration and business process projects.
Diversified PMO requires a visionary leader who can inspire, motivate, and coordinate across departments and programs to ensure collaboration, transparency, and successful execution of a large-scale project portfolio. The PMO Director will build centralized governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, resource management strategies, and tools to optimize project management throughout the company.
This role also involves financial oversight as the IT Financial Manager, managing opex and capex budgets, forecasts, and burn rates. Acting as the liaison between finance/accounting and project teams, the PMO Director ensures alignment of financial practices with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion DEC core business needs and growth initiatives by implementing robust project/program governance activities.
- Evaluate and refine project lifecycle processes to align with leadership expectations and industry standards.
- Equip the organization with tools, training, and leadership to prioritize and manage projects effectively.
- Establish a centralized intake and prioritization process to align with strategic business goals.
- Develop and maintain monthly financial statements, forecasts, and annual budget proposals.
- Introduce technology contract tracking mechanisms for departmental technology deployments.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Technology, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in operations, finance/accounting, and project management, with demonstrated process improvement success.

- Deep knowledge of project/program lifecycle, governance frameworks, and controls related to scope, budget, resourcing, risk, quality, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent credentials.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Proficiency in Power BI and Smartsheet.
- Demonstrated ability to design and scale PM best practices.
