Statement Automation Analyst
Position Description:
The Statement Automation team is responsible for assimilating and creating digital information for all statement data at Diversified Energy. The strategic objective of this team is to provide a comprehensive evaluation of statement data across the production accounting, marketing, revenue and accounting departments and create an internal single source of statement data that will be used by the production accounting, marketing revenue and account teams during the month end close process. The goal is to improve the data quality, streamline the data entry process, and provide better and more proactive analytics. This position will work to automate daily operations under the guidance of the direct upper management. A good understanding of oil & gas production statements, marketing statements and pipeline statements is advantageous, along with a process improvement and technical aptitude.
This position will report to the Supervisor of Statement Automation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Statement management
- Interpret and apply business rules for 3rd party statements.
- Collaborate with Natural Gas and Crude Purchasers for corrections.
- Ensure timely and complete handling of monthly statements.
- Maintain accurate data availability for all departments.
- Learn and interpret purchaser statements, confirmations, and associated data.
- Collaborate with various departments on automation requirements.
- Develop new automation processes for data distribution.
- Enhance efficiency through automation.
- Support multiple automation and analytical initiatives.
- Maintain processes to move data from raw format to all downstream systems on a daily and weekly basis as statements are received from 3rd party.
- Ensure data quality and completeness.
- Provide approved data for month-end close.
- Develop Power BI dashboards or other tools to assist with close process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to handle multiple issues and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish relationships and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with SQL script writing and SQL databases is a plus.
- Experience with any automation development.
- Familiarity with Azure Document Intelligence or similar OCR tools.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
- Knowledge of tools like DOMO, Enertia, Flow-Cal, FIS Align, Snowflake and Azure is advantageous.
