Job Title: Compressor Mechanic
Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (DGOC) is a subsidiary of Diversified Energy Company PLC, a US-based company listed on the New York Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange. As an established owner and operator of producing conventional and unconventional natural gas & oil wells and midstream pipelines and compression stations in the Appalachian Basin, we are seeking a skilled Compressor Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of compressors/generators to ensure equipment operates under current emissions guidelines/standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose all levels of compressor/generator system shutdowns and failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Inventory Management: Order and stock maintenance and repair parts as needed to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Safety and Compliance: Understand and comply with all company safety practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communication: Maintain active and open communication with field operations, providing regular updates on progress and issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: A minimum of four years experience in a similar role, with proven mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently.
- Certifications: CAT Engine Certification and Ariel Compressor experience a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in engine and compressor maintenance, basic understanding of surface production equipment, and strong communication skills.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions: This position involves outdoor work in extreme weather conditions, requiring the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, sit, stand, walk, reach, and use fingers to handle or feel. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
