Production Operator

Overview:

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is a leading owner and operator of producing conventional and unconventional natural gas and oil wells, as well as midstream pipelines and compression stations. Headquartered in Birmingham, AL, our field operations are concentrated in the Appalachian Basin in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Support oilfield operations through assembly or repair
• Work with equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and high-pressure power washing equipment
• Perform various duties relative to production and storage, including securing and safely transporting equipment, selecting and preparing well sites, and assisting in conducting special back pressure tests on wells
• Assist in constructing and replacing new and existing pipelines, repairing leaks, and rerouting flow and changing pressure
• Operate valves and regulate equipment to blow down lines, install sleeves, leak clamps, saddles, etc., and remove old line, stringing pipe joints, coating, and wrapping pipe and lowering in
• Maintain public relations with farmers, landowners, consumers, contractors, and utility people

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 years of oil and gas operations experience required
• Experience working as a laborer, including proficiency with all types of tools and equipment
