Overview:
Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation (DGOC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Diversified Energy Company PLC, a US-based company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and London Stock Exchange (LSE) under the ticker symbol DEC. Our field operations are located throughout the Appalachian Basin in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities:
- Support oilfield operations through assembly or repair.
- Work with equipment such as hand tools, power tools, and high-pressure power washing equipment.
Key Duties:
- Secure and safely transport equipment according to DOT regulations.
- Assist in selecting and preparing well sites and roads to proposed well sites.
- Lay temporary water and gas lines to new drilling sites.
- Test open flow and rock pressure.
- Inspect wells for leaks, repairing leaks, reconditioning well heads.
- Assist Clean Out Man in reworking wells using cable tools.
- Help Bailing Machine Operator.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in constructing and replacing new and existing pipelines.
- Manually transport tools and/or materials to locations inaccessible to motor vehicles.
- Swamp for equipment operators.
- Dig and backfill ditches and bell holes.
- Operate valves and/or regulate equipment to blow down lines.
- Install sleeves, leak clamps, saddles, etc.
- Remove old line, string pipe joints, coat, and wrap pipe and lower it in.
- Assist welders, grind beads, and line up pipe using clamps.
- Operate, inspect, and lubricate valves.
- Assist in installing, operating, and maintaining dehydrators, methanol injectors, and gas separators and drips.
- Perform various measurement activities, such as changing gas measurement charts, entering explanation of meter conditions, and reading consumer meters.
- Paint, masonry, and carpentry to maintain structures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of oil and gas operations experience required.
- Experience working as a laborer, including proficiency with all types of tools and equipment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Visually see driving operations well.
- Standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and sitting.
- Repetitive movements by feet, shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, and back.
- Working at elevated heights.
- Lifting 75 lb. or more objects occasionally.
- Carrying 75 lb. or more objects occasionally.
