Events Industry Internship Program

About the Program:

This is a summer internship program based in our Portland, Maine headquarters. You’ll be challenged with meaningful work and will be responsible for meeting deadlines, producing results, and contributing to business operations.

In 2025, we will be hiring for two internship positions. One internship will offer a hands-on experience in IT; ideal for those seeking education and experience in Information Technology or a related field. You will engage in various tasks such as using help desk ticketing systems, fielding support requests, and participating in team meetings. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work on projects like preparing new devices for deployment and updating documentation, all while developing your technical and customer service skills.

Another internship position will be focused within Marketing, Sales, or Journalism. In this opportunity, you will have a valuable experience and gain exposure to one of these fields, allowing you to develop your skills and explore potential career paths. Ideal candidates are those eager to learn and contribute in a dynamic and evolving environment. If your degree program and/or area of experience and interest is in Business, Sales, Marketing, Journalism or a related field, we encourage you to apply. 

Successful candidates must demonstrate strong organizational skills to plan workflow, handle overlapping activities, meet established deadlines, excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. What happens when the program ends?

We’ve been very successful at hiring and retaining past interns for full-time, part-time, or temporary opportunities.  We regularly offer opportunities for early career professionals with a focus in marketing, event operations, sales, IT, or content creation.

Other Important Specifics:

This is a paid internship opportunity. We are flexible on the schedule requirements and seek candidates who can work 3-4 days per week for at least 24 hours/week.

Applications submitted by Friday, April 4th, 2025 will be prioritized. We would like to have our roles filled and on board by early June 2025.
