Die Cutter Operator

Diversified Labeling Solutions, Inc. (DLS) is currently seeking an experienced Die Cutter Operator to join our 2nd shift Reno, NV production team. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to be a key player in the DLS manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform make-ready and operate assigned equipment to convert label stock to die-cut rolls/sheets of various sizes, in accordance with job specifications
• Operate equipment in an efficient manner in compliance with company safety practices
• Ensure that product quality and production efficiencies meet or exceed company standards
• Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machine and inspecting dies for needed maintenance
• Work as part of a team that is committed to producing a quality product and meeting company objectives in a safe and clean working environment
• Cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks as necessary

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating die-cutting equipment preferred, but will train the right candidate with prior hands-on manufacturing experience
• Ability to consistently produce product within customer specifications, with minimal production errors
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and self-directed
• Good communication skills
• Excellent trouble shooting skills in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
