Diversified, LLC, a leading Financial Planning and Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm based in Wilmington, DE, with additional offices around the country, is seeking a Financial Services professional for part of the firm’s Investment Team.
The candidate must be an accountable, self-reliant team member who is comfortable both working independently and with a collaborative Investment Team. This person must handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, have first-class communication skills, be highly detail-oriented and have diligent follow-through.
The perfect candidate is interested in a long-term position with upside in a fast-growing company with a family-oriented environment. This position is based out of the Wayne, Pennsylvania office.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting CIO and analysts in research projects for firm investment strategies. This will include both independent and collaborative investment and asset allocation research for existing and new portfolios.
- Learning internal investment research technologies and outside resources to monitor existing portfolios. Example outputs are portfolio returns, risk-related statistics, and security attribution.
- A strong desire to grow in investment management and willingness to learn Diversified’s philosophy and process.
- Attending, participating in, and keeping diligent notes of the monthly Investment Committee meeting and weekly team meeting.
- Monitoring, prioritizing, and responding to inbound requests and questions from financial planning teams on investment-related items.
- Building investment reviews and commentary for prospective client financial plan meetings.
- Assisting lead trader in executing portfolio trades, strategy implementation, and rebalancing.
- Overseeing client connections to our held-away asset technology and communicating with planning teams when issues arise.
- A commitment to self-improvement, a desire to progress, and willingness to take on more responsibility over time.
Position Requirements:
- Experience in the wealth management or asset management industry. Some examples are a RIA, Broker Dealer, Bank, Fund Company, and Insurance Company.
- World-class organizational and communication skills.
- World-class time management and operational efficiency skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Progress towards, or a desire to pursue, an industry designation such as CFA, MBA, CIMA, and CAIA.
