Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hard-working unloaders (lumpers) to assist in unloading trucks, sorting and stacking products in a warehouse environment. Starting at $19 an hour for experienced single pallet jack operators.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to facilitate the unloading process
- Remove products from trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety standards and procedures
- Coordinate with receivers and tow motor operators to ensure proper flow of inbound product
- Hand-stack floor loads in an organized manner, with correct labels, ti-hi's, and no mixed product
- Regularly ensure that product loads are handled to minimize damage to products
Physical and Mental Demands
- Stand, bend, stoop, squat, reach, twist, and move continuously
- Frequently walk throughout the workday
- Frequently reach above shoulder level to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds when unloading and sorting pallet products
- Push and pull frequently
- Function comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Endure extreme temperatures of heat and cold
- Withstand loud noise and distractions
