Diversified Maintenance is committed to providing high-quality maintenance solutions to our clients. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Custodian/Janitor to join our part-time team.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. They will also follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Custodian/Janitor will clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, and store entrance areas. This includes emptying trash cans for proper disposal and using compactor for certain materials. Additionally, they will clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
Requirements
To be successful as a Custodian/Janitor, you must meet the following requirements:
- At least 18 years of age or older
- Reliable
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Able to pass a drug test in some situations
- Prior cleaning experience is a plus
