What’s the ROLE:

Diversified Marketing Strategies is an award-winning marketing, association management, publishing, and event planning firm located in Crown Point. We are looking for an exceptional customer service representative that can “walk the walk” and “talk the talk”. An exceptional Client Engagement Coordinator makes the difference in developing customers in repeat customers. They thrive on ending each call knowing they did their best and helped someone. It’s not the job for everyone – because not everyone has what it takes. We are looking for someone who can WOW every customer and has a positive attitude. Your PURPOSE at DMS:

Think Diversified. You will champion our clients and our team to provide excellent customer service by creating strong relationships, planning, and troubleshooting. Your strong communication skills, and desire to be the best will be an integral part of the team.

This role will require you to invest high energy and enthusiasm in becoming a trusted partner on our team, be comfortable in working across multiple initiatives, and use your creativity and solutions-based approach to provide exceptional outcomes and business growth.

What will you DO every day:

You will spend your days working in multiple facets of our business including the following:

  • Work closely with our clients and associations to further develop and strengthen relationships.
  • Research product ideas for customers with a strong eye for innovative top trends to ensure they stay ahead of the crowd.
  • Develop and coordinate schedules for projects and event management.
  • Database management via CRM. Along with the creation of new order estimates and purchase orders to expedite the sales process.
  • Build strong vendor partner relationships to facilitate order management, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Solve problems, work in a group and learn B2B marketing strategies for our clients.
  • Assist in implementing social media and creative campaigns.
  • Assist and attend our amazing client events (about 6 per year).

What you need to be SUCCESSFUL:

· Self-starters who love to achieve and exceed goals.

· Self-starter who can remain calm under pressure. We need someone that can work under deadlines problem solve on the spot while providing superior results.

· Solutions provider with superior ability to empathize, relate to our valued customers and a get stuff done attitude.

· Excellent communication skills—both written and oral.

· Strong comfort level in Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM programs.

· It’s all in the details! Accuracy, detail oriented and strong organization are a must.

· Suited to a hyper-entrepreneurial small-business environment that has high expectations for team performance.

Work PERKS:

Casual work environment, great hours with your work week ending at 11:00 am on Fridays. Vacation and holiday pay. Our office is closed the last 2 weeks of the year for much needed R&R. 401k with 100% company match up to 4% of employee contribution.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
