Summary
As a Regional Sales Manager at Diversified Plastics, Inc., you will be instrumental in driving sales growth and expanding our market presence. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships with clients and ensuring our innovative plastic solutions meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and upselling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with production capabilities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to senior management.
- Attend Regional and National Tradeshows as needed.
- Estimate time, material and freight for product inquiries.
- Process RMA's
Qualifications
- Proven experience in territory sales management within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong lead generation skills with a track record of successful upselling.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in account management and customer service excellence.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to assess market trends and data.
- Experience in collaboration sales strategies is a plus.
- Familiarity with technology sales processes and ERP systems.
- Mechanical or engineering aptitude helpful
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
