Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
- Develop treatment plans based on clinical assessments and ongoing evaluations.
- Engage in clinical research to stay informed about best practices in mental health treatment.
- Provide direct support to clients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Offer telehealth services as needed, adapting therapeutic approaches for virtual settings.
Experience
- Proven experience in mental health counseling.
- Familiarity with individual & group counseling techniques and direct support practices.
- Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and committment therapy, and motivational interviewing strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to conduct clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices.
