Developing PLC programming skills for different platforms, electrical power protection skills, control and monitoring electrical moving machines, learn project management skills, learn or improve reading electrical and mechanical drawings/schematics.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop production drawings.
Put together Bill Of Materials (BOM).
Issue production drawings and maintain records of all changes through production.
Inspect Power Envelops (Switchgear bare bone structure) from supplier.
Develop PLC program from templates (sometimes it requires major changes).
Develop Shop Test document.
Perform Engineering test (test Sequence of Operation) to make sure the project matches the specs.
Perform Customer Witness Test.
Clean up the project after CWT and prepare for shipping.
Develop Field Start up test document.
Develop Operation Manuals for customer use.
Support Field Engineering team during start up stage.
Learn, improve and demonstrate skills on how to control project’s cost.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate’s degree with 10 years’ experience.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, electrical, manufacturing, or mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years’ experience in Automated Controls industry and Power Systems.
Master’s degree with 6 years’ experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Technical proficiency in some software applications.
PLC programming experience (Schneider, Rockell A-B).
Electrical Power Protection experience (Schweitzer, GE, ABB, Basler).
Emergency Electrical Power System controls experience (Generators, Turbines, UPS, ATS).
Ability to read and develop electrical schematics drawings (AutoCAD).
Technical communication and ability to write up technical documentation.
