Site Supervisor - Construction

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices. This role requires effective communication with team members, clients, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and making necessary adjustments to meet financial goals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore for project tracking and reporting.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and resource requirements accurately.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process.
• Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary.
• Prepare reports on project status, including updates on timelines, budgets, and any challenges encountered.
• Facilitate communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting principles and construction estimating techniques.
• Familiarity with construction management software, particularly ProCore.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in quality control processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe work environment on-site.

Other skills preferred or required

• CPR and first aid certifications.
• Sound knowledge of building codes and construction safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of construction tools and equipment - Required
• The ability to interpret blueprints - Required
• Outstanding leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• OSHA 30 – Required
• Computer Skills – Required
• Knowledge of Procore – Preferred
• Willing to travel - Required

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
