Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking qualified Machine Operator candidates for the Birmingham, AL area.
The pay for this position is $15-16 / hour.
Machine Operators are charged with the safe and efficient use of manufacturing implements. The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent and possess 1 year machine operating experience.
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator
- Stitch heavy materials such as leather, canvas, fabrics or other textiles
- Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
- Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures.
- Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
- Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
- Perform random tests to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output.
- Operate forklift as required.
