DSS is hiring for a Quality Technician in the Waxahachie, TX Area!
Job Title : Quality Technician
Shift : Monday - Thursday 6am-4 : 30pm
Pay : $ 19 / hr
Job Description :
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality control, particularly in weighing products, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Responsibilities :
Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials and outgoing products.
Weigh products to ensure they meet specified weight requirements.
Inspect products for defects, damages, and mislabels.
Monitor for leakage and other defects.
Record inspection results and update the system accordingly.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Operate and maintain quality inspection tools and equipment.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in quality control, particularly in weighing products.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of general methods, tools, and equipment used in mechanical maintenance and repair work.
