Job Description
The Senior Project Manager drives profitability by leading multiple projects from conceptualization to implementation by defining the project's objectives, retrieving scopes of work \ for each phase of the project, communicating progress to key stakeholders, overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle, acquiring necessary resources, and coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the full life cycle of objectives from inception (proposal and / or quote) stage though completion.
Develop & manage planning and execution for all phases of projects (labor scheduling, material sourcing, budgeting).
Partner with team members to develop, implement, and control documentation for projects and their components.
Maintain an open line of communication regarding project plans to key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide leadership to execute the project ensuring that it is completed on time and within scope.
Mitigate risks, challenges, and obstacles through daily guidance & support of project team members, & other resources.
Evaluate progress of projects to develop opportunities to improve performance.
Travel Requirements : 30 - 40% based in business demands.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline.
Project management certification (PMI or PMP) degree.
6 years of related work experience project management and / or comparable management experience.
6 years of experience with planning and direction of Client and / or material resources to complete a common objective.
Advanced knowledge of close-tolerance machining and related metrology.
Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree.
Understanding of hydraulic / pneumatic / lubrication circuits is highly desired.
Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Epicor-10 highly desired
