Description:
DSI is searching for a Physician with an unrestricted license to practice as MD or DO in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Will review prior authorization requests for medical services to determine medical necessity.
- All review and decisioning is performed via electronic review.
- Will be required to be available for peer-to-peer reviews that may be requested based on a negative action.
- May be required to participate in a Fair Hearing should a negative action be appealed to explain the medical review process and decision making.
- Supported by a Medical Director and a team of physicians doing similar work.
- Part-time position, estimated 20-25 hours per week with increases when covering for leave of other physicians.
Must be physically located within the US.
