Description
Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. Writes literature and materials to be used in programs and designs exercises to enhance lectures. Conducts classes regarding safety, security, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment.

Assess training needs and certification requirements.
Prepare training material and classroom agenda.
Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids).
Assist in design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum.
Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.
Manage the training program in accordance with business needs and regulatory requirements.
Plan and direct classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences, and workshops.
Requirements
4 years experience preparing and conducting technical training programs, required.
4 years experience assessing training needs and certification requirements, required.
4 years experience preparing training material and classroom agenda, required.
4 years experience creating instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids), required
4 years experience assisting in design of computer-based and multimedia curriculum, required.
4 years experience ensuring the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle, required.
4 years experience managing the training program in accordance with business needs and regulatory requirement, required.
4 years experience planning and directing classroom training, electronic learning, multimedia programs, and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, required.
4 years of relevant experience required.
3 years of experience in a technical field.
4-year college degree in computer science or related field with advanced study preferred.
