Job Summary
The Contract Analyst is a trusted and critical partner with the DSR team and is responsible for ensuring the process flow, databases, and necessary data is accurate for the team to enter contract negotiations or conversations. The Contract Analyst will be responsible for ensuring valid and accurate data contact is recorded and maintained. The position will be responsible for analyzing the financial impacts of contract proposals and developing strategies to optimize vendor strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously evolve a Contract Management System suitable for DSR business dealings
- Read contracts thoroughly. Compile and input necessary information into databases for easy access to pertinent information
- Assist team with ensuring compliance with contracts on all sides
- Create data analysis of contract and provide comparison information for team
- Assist with developing financial models to optimize sales strategies
- Assists in conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality
- Develop sustaining long-standing relationships with company contacts including Management and C-Level
- Assist in establishing standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors
- Support and assist high-level vendor management strategies and policies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. HS Diploma/GED required
- Advanced skills in MS Excel required. Proven knowledge of SharePoint required.
- Operation of other Microsoft Office Products including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality required
- Previous experience in technology industry preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Proven and consistent show of leadership abilities
- Proven dependability with attendance, exceptional workplace conduct, and continuous positive performance
- Exceptional attention to detail pertaining to numbers, formulas, and processes
- Operation of Microsoft Office Products
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to communicate with various individuals
- Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, verbal)
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively to work on projects simultaneously
- Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills
