Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Secret Clearance 
*Eligible for full time remote

DTSI is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to deliver security solutions, guidelines, and controls within the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF). This position will be part of a collaborative development team to make recommendations, provide subject-matter-expertise, and lead efforts to ensure ATO (Authority to Operate).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Update and maintain an Information System Security Plan utilizing DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and within compliance of the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
• Update and maintain Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
• Update and maintain Configuration Management Plans
• Audit and Assess STIG findings, and results, and update .ckl's in eMass
• Conduct information system contingency plans and exercises
• Lead initiatives to mitigate vulnerabilities derived from security scans
• Perform security incident management
• Ensure system health as directed by DISA Task Order (DTO)
• Perform cybersecurity auditing, testing and evaluations
• Write vulnerability management plan and provide security impact letters for each release
• Update and maintain current NIST requirements for all applicable RMF controls for ATO renewals

Required Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in an IT role overseeing systems and/or networks with involvement in developing security protocols and/or best practices
• 3 years' experience with implementing/assessing security controls assessment for eMASS (preferred)
• Knowledge of DISA Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Knowledge of the DISA Cyber Exchange (formerly IASE)
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure and/or Cloud One security environment (preferred)

DoD Security Requirements

• Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification: Security ce or higher

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
