Diversified Technologies, Inc. (“DTI”) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high-power electrical equipment. Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop the world’s most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories.
DTI is seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter / Operator who will assist with document production for a fast-paced, small business. Work with a tight-knit team of engineers on a range of production and R&D projects. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work in a challenging, innovative, technical environment at our facilities based in Bedford and Lexington, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize SolidWorks Electrical and ACAD to create drawings for electrical systems
(e.g., generate schematics, prepare cable harness drawings, prepare bills of materials, etc.)
• Make changes and updates to drawings
• Work from hand drawings, sketches, verbal and written instructions
Requirements:
• Demonstrated excellent AutoCAD skills
• SolidWorks Electrical is highly desired, but training will be provided
• Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics
• Attention to detail with an aptitude for working with design engineers and a team of drafters
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and responsive to deadlines
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
Compensation:
• Commensurate with experience
