Diversified Technologies, Inc. (“DTI”) is an international leader in the design and manufacture of high-power electrical equipment. Our exceptional engineers and scientists collaborate to develop the world’s most powerful radar transmitters, pulsed power units for state-of-the-art processing in food, energy and wastewater, and advanced R&D for national laboratories.
DTI seeks a Facilities Assistant to join its fast-growing, high-technology business. DTI’s work
involves the design, fabrication, construction, installation and testing of specialized, high-power electrical equipment for industrial and government applications. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to work in a challenging, innovative technical organization based in Bedford, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:
• Perform basic facilities maintenance and repairs for multiple buildings
• Assist with facilities evaluation / inspection programs
• Diagnose and implement (or oversee) repairs to plumbing, electrical, safety systems
• Assist with shipping (assemble crates) and receiving (disassemble crates)
• Drive box truck locally (e.g., interbuilding deliveries, supply purchases, etc.)
• Provide general support to Facilities Manager
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Minimum two years related experience
• Knowledgeable in the use of hand and power tools
• Experienced in repairs to plumbing, electrical and other building systems
• Able to perform basic carpentry
• Must have daily (working hours) access to an automobile
• Must be able to frequently lift and move boxes and other loads weighing up to
50 pounds. Must be able to work overhead for periods of time. Must be able to work
in office, warehouse and outdoor environments year-round.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Good communication skills, able to retain and follow detailed instructions
• Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
• Organized, team player
• Respectful of established safety requirements
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Compensation:
• Up to $25.00 per hour based upon experience
• Excellent benefits including health, dental, life, and disability insurance; 401K Plan,
