In this role, you will handle the transportation of refrigerated goods, ensuring timely and safe deliveries across various states. Key Responsibilities:
- Regional Deliveries: Operate a Class-A reefer truck to deliver multi-stop LTL shipments efficiently throughout the Midwest region.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring timely and professional deliveries.
- Route Management: Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report any mechanical issues, and maintain a clean and operational vehicle.
- Paperwork: Complete all necessary delivery documentation accurately, including bills of lading and inspection reports.
Requirements:
- Class-A CDL: Valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License.
- Reefer Experience: Prior experience with refrigerated trucks is preferred but not mandatory.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting and carrying items and performing physical tasks as required by the job.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Dependability: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
