- You must be at least 21 years old. Ability to obtain Act 33 clearances, Criminal History and FBI Act 73 clearances. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management.
What You Need:
- High School Diploma
- Sufficient previous counseling experience with at-risk youth.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DTAC functions, clinical philosophy, and awareness of the partial hospitalization standards according to the Department of Public Welfare regulations.
What You'll Do:
· Assist in implementing a treatment plan that addresses the needs of the patient with input from the patient, referral source, and Program Treatment Team. All goals/objectives are to be realistic, obtainable, and measurable.
· Assume primary care to youths assigned to case load.
· Provide for the safety, security, and appropriate social interaction and social behavior of all youth in the program.
· Maintain professional documentation duties, i.e. Progress Notes, home journals, medication log, incident reports, progress notes, medication journal, treatment plan updating, and other responsibilities delegated by the Program Supervisor and Program Director.
· Demonstrate a standard of conduct that provides effective role modeling for patient population and peer group.
· Plan and implement therapeutic, recreational, and educational activities daily.
· Facilitate appropriate discipline through therapeutic intervention as needed.
· Attend weekly staff meetings and prepare required case manager information to the treatment team.
· Improve level of competence through participation in on-going supervision and attend on- and off-site training seminars.
· Document and maintain client data via EMR.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on topics such as family, socialization skills, relationship development, self-worth, problem-solving, etc.
· Perform all other duties assigned by the Program Supervisor, Program Director, Director of Clinical Quality, Chief Clinical Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Engagement and Crisis Specialist to provide an atmosphere conducive to wellness.
