Director of Partial Hospitalization Program

Qualifications:

a. Master’s degree in a generally recognized clinical field such as counseling, psychology, social work, etc. Minimum of three years’ experience in the area of child/adolescent behavioral health care services. (License preferred but not required.)

b. Sufficient training and experience related to provision of clinical supervision and program development. Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience.

c. Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health treatment theory and practice, clinical supervision principles, DTAC philosophy and treatment approaches, and federal/state regulatory requirements.

The Program Director for the partial hospitalization program is the lead clinician within the treatment environment and responsible for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of all aspects of the clinical treatment course of the therapeutic milieu. Duties include clinical supervision of all direct care counseling staff, oversight of all clinical assessment/treatment planning processes, consultation with psychiatric professional staff and collaboration with the Director of Clinical Quality, Program Supervisors, Regional Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Service, and Regional Administrative Coordinator of Outpatient Services to provide an atmosphere conducive to wellness and to ensure programmatic goal attainment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversight of all components of the therapeutic milieu inclusive of assessment and treatment planning; individual, group, and family therapy sessions; psychiatric evaluation/assessment; recreational therapy activities; and aftercare/discharge planning.
• Clinical supervision of Program Caseworkers and Program supervisors i.e. establishing treatment direction and overseeing implementation of treatment strategies and interventions. Clinical supervision of all graduate and undergraduate interns completing educational placements in the program.
• Collaboration with the Director of Clinical Quality, Program Supervisors Regional Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Service, and Regional Administrative Coordinator of Outpatient Services in hiring, supervising, and discharging all employees of the partial hospitalization program.
• Provide staff training to maintain and enhance the professional development and clinical competency of the Program Supervisors and Program Caseworkers.
• Conduct specialized individual, group and/or family therapy sessions when necessary or as directed by the Director of Clinical Quality, Program Supervisors Regional Clinical Coordinator of Outpatient Service, and Regional Administrative Coordinator of Outpatient Services.
• Oversee all utilization of Emergency Safety Interventions with program clients and ensure appropriate training and qualifications of all staff implementing DTAC techniques.
• Review of clinical documentation completion including client medical records, self-medication administration records, clinical progress notes, psychiatric evaluations/assessments, physician orders, discharge summaries, etc.

You must be at least 21 years old. Ability to obtain Act 33 clearances, Criminal History and FBI Act 73 clearances. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management is also required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
