Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers is a leading provider of mental health services dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our community. We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Site Supervisor and Mental Health Counselor. This unique role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our outpatient program while also providing essential mental health counseling services to our clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral sciences field.
Experience and Training: All Site Supervisors will undergo comprehensive training surrounding management systems, as well as adherence to structure, routines, and environment management. Minimum of one year experience in behavioral healthcare services for children and adolescents. Experience to include both work and clinical internships. Must have, or be in training, to receive certification in the treatment of sexually aggressive youth in at least a 60-credit hour academic and practicum program with competency evaluation and testing. Certification is a requirement within one year of the date of hire.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a treatment plan that addresses the needs of the youth with input from the client, referring agency, Site Supervisor, Mental Health Professional, and A.R.R.T.S. Program Coordinator.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with all youth and family members on a consistent basis under the direction of the Mental Health Professional, Site Supervisor, or Senior Mental Health Counselor.
- Assume primary care to youths assigned to caseload.
- Provide for the safety, security, and appropriate social interaction and social behavior of all youth in the program.
- Maintain appropriate communication with the entire treatment team.
- Serve as a liaison with all outside agencies and school personnel.
- Serve as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Maintain professional documentation duties, i.e. Individual Treatment Plan updates, court reports, progress notes, client file documents, behavioral contracts, safety plans, incident reports, and other responsibilities delegated by Site Supervisor, Mental Health Professional, Director of Clinical Quality, and A.R.R.T.S. Program Coordinator.
- Additionally, the Site Supervisor maintains a dual role serving both as a Mental Health Counselor and as a Site Supervisor with specific specialty measurements.

This position will be responsible for the facilitation of therapy in a variety of specific identified needs including the development/implementation of an individualized treatment plan, documentation of therapeutic experience via report writing and communication with referral sources and other professionals, and to provide an atmosphere conducive to wellness.
You must be at least 21 years old. Ability to obtain Act 33 clearances, Criminal History and FBI Act 73 clearances. A valid driver's license is required. Ability to pass Safe Crisis Management is also required.
