What part will you play?
As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for the scope, schedule, cost, quality and client satisfaction of a project throughout its entire lifecycle, from Initiating through Closing phases. The Sr PM is accountable for the delivery of large scale, complex projects and must know how to successfully delegate, follow-up and ensure the delivery of key responsibilities throughout the project. The Project Manager’s role is focused on leveraging SMEs, facilitating decisions, gaining alignment with partner teams - all through strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders and to executives.
The Sr PM is responsible for overseeing and performing project management functions with respect to cost, quality and schedule. The Sr PM will act as the responsible person on their assigned projects and have direct control over all project management activities. This position provides direction to a wide range of internal and external personnel.
As a primary interface to the client, the Sr. Project Manager develops a strong long-term relationship - managing the client relationship, including expectations, communications and satisfaction.

Daily activities include:
Travel: Frequent travel by car and occasional airplane trips are required. Employees must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence. This will be evaluated based on strength of the candidate. Local travel to client sites (within a 2-hour driving distance each way) will make up 70-90% usually. Less than 10% remote travel is required on a regular basis.

What will you be doing?
Daily activities include:
- Ensures appropriate and frequent communication between stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains all related project schedules.
- Performs field verification of prospective work site
- Provides support and assistance to team members as needed to help them be successful and get the job done.
- Provides and/or directs technical and administrative support to project team members.
- Documents all issues with site and keeps everyone informed of potential issues and solutions.
- Coordinates all drawings and documentation between all internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitates and directs design reviews to assure proper documentation in the field.
- Coordinates all system programming and final checkout of systems.
- Develops and drives punch-list of remaining tasks after substantial completion.
- Coordinates training & turnover of projects to client, service department, & sales.

What do we require from you?
Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- 5 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction trades and settings or experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
- Proven ability to follow repeatable processes and participate in Constant Process Improvement (CPI) to iterate and improve workflows and best practices.
- Experience driving and delivering waterfall schedules to a fixed delivery date while monitoring and controlling projects to ensure required quality standards and profitability.
- Strong technical abilities and the demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Experience in a client-facing role or a demonstrated pleasant professional demeanor.
- Experience working with or working for Enterprise level clients.
- An understanding of when and how to implement Agile methodologies within a waterfall program such they leverage speed yet are contained to avoid schedule risks.
- A solid understanding of PMP methodologies and best practices
- Travel up to 25% of the time is required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in their state of residence.
- Project Management experience with large, complex technical projects within an at-scale program
- Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS)
- Certified Security Project Manager – CSPM
- PMP certification from the Project Management Institute preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
