What part will you play?
The Video Production Technician will be a part of the on-site audio-visual meeting services team dedicated to a client. This person will be expected to have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on corporate media projects. Daily duties will include supporting on-site live streams and events, editing internal corporate content, prepping video shoots and recording content under the direction of the On-site Manager. This position will be working with all levels of leadership within the company so a professional and approachable attitude will be necessary for success.
The purpose of the Video Production Technician is to support the Studio team with coordination and execution of a variety of daily webcast, live productions, video shoots, and postproduction to meet our client’s communications needs.
What will you be doing?
Full in house production including video shoots, podcast recordings, production of multimedia presentations, and post production services (editing)
Professional A/V studio operation including video switching, audio mixing, recording services, lighting, etc.
Recording meetings and remote participants for projects using Google Meets
Provide support for video and audio production recordings on location, in studio, or within enabled spaces such as auditoriums and board rooms.
Technical Operation of Event and Webcast Equipment including but not limited to video switching, technical direction, and audio board control
Operate webcasting services via the designated internal platform - Kaltura
Event and webcast consulting, planning, coordination and day of support
Setup, testing, operation, and tear down of production gear in preparation for webcast or studio shoots as required.
Provide technical and administrative support for all webcasts and live productions under the direction of the on-site manager.
In Room/Virtual White Glove Meeting Support including video conference setup and monitoring.
Documentation of Workflows and Processes of the above activities
Other duties as assigned will include pre-production meetings, testing of solutions and equipment, inventory of assets, etc.
Ongoing Training & Care - assisting visitors and/or working with client staff to educate them on the proper use of various Google technology.
Work Location: Corporate, Office, Open Cubicle Work, Studio, Various Lab Environments, Warehouse, Studio, and Production Booths.
What do we require from you?
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience in Communications, Video Editing, Broadcast or Similar Field
3 Years of Demonstrated Professional Experience in Media Production or Broadcast
Adobe Creative Suite experience at a professional level. This includes, but is not limited to, Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
Must possess a general understanding of video capture and editing workflows and demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting abilities.
Basic knowledge of Pearl Streaming System
Experience with Google Work Space including Google Meets, Gmail, Docs, Slides, Drive, Gchat, etc.
Industry certifications are preferred but not necessary.
The ability to remain calm under pressure.
Experience working in corporate environments with various levels of leadership.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to move 50-75lbs of equipment.
Ability to work on-site 5 days a week.
