About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer with specialized experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for a global financial institution. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a deep understanding of ServiceNow development, asset lifecycle management, and third-party integrations. You’ll be instrumental in enhancing the organization’s ITAM and CMDB capabilities while ensuring clean, reliable data through advanced scripting and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow ITAM and CMDB modules, including asset lifecycle and configuration management.
- Develop advanced scripts (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Script Includes) for custom workflows and automation.
- Create and maintain integrations with external systems using ServiceNow REST APIs.
- Implement data normalization, reconciliation, and enrichment processes to ensure data accuracy in CMDB and asset records.
- Drive data transformation and ETL processes within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and business users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
- Hands-on expertise with ITAM and CMDB modules.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and XML within the ServiceNow environment.
- Experience with ServiceNow REST APIs and external system integrations.
- Strong understanding of data accuracy and integrity within asset management processes.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and collaboration.
