Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Concrete Operator I entail adhering to established protocols to execute various manual tasks to produce concrete pads and products. Concrete Operator I must work within production standards for volume, cost, scrap targets, and quality standards. Responsibilities of this position including tasks like loading materials into production machinery, as well as handling the removal, packaging, and sorting of raw materials and finished goods. Additionally, the Concrete Operator I will undertake duties such as operating vibrators, foam routers, striking/troweling off-line, demolding and performing scrape/patch pad duties. Furthermore, responsibilities may extend to the collection and disposal of refuse and production waste in accordance with the organization's waste disposal guidelines.

Job Summary

Additionally, the Concrete Operator I will undertake duties such as operating vibrators, foam routers, striking/troweling off-line, demolding and performing scrape/patch pad duties. Furthermore, responsibilities may extend to the collection and disposal of refuse and production waste in accordance with the organization's waste disposal guidelines.
Essential Duties
- Executes mixer operator responsibilities, including the preparation of concrete mixes tailored to meet line specifications such as ensuring the correct ratio and measurement of ingredients in the concrete mix.
- Performs mold preparation tasks, including thoroughly coating molds with mold release, securing foam with pins, and inserting rebars as required.
- Extracts the concrete pads from the mold by utilizing vacuum cups to lift them out and transfer them to the conveyor line. Subsequently, the pads are flipped on the belt before being stacked on a pallet using a second set of vacuum cups.
- Ensures each stack contains the accurate quantity and conducts quality control on pads by removing defective ones from the production line to prevent further processing or rectifying minor hairline cracks or imperfections by scraping, filling, and smoothing them to achieve a flawless surface.
- Ensures a tidy finish through troweling, affixes labels, and wrap the finalized products for inventory management.
- Utilizes machinery to accurately cut foam to the desired specifications.
- Maintains organization and cleanliness of work area, ensuring no safety hazards exist.
- Executes strike off (troweler) tasks by assisting the controller in ensuring proper mud filling and preventing protruding fibers. Utilizes a trowel to achieve even mud distribution and sharp clean corners.
- Performs concrete vibratingtasks for concrete pad production, involving spreading concrete once it is poured into the mold on the pre-vibe table, positioning rebar in the pan, and subsequently adding foam to the mold at the following station.
- Inserts bolts, clips and various inserts when removing pads from molds, depending on the pad type being manufactured.
- EPS Gridders receives foam, places them on hot wires, and creates a grid pattern on the foam for the slurry.
- Operates multiple CNC machines and conducts cycle counts of raw materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proactive “self-starter” with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
