What you'll do:
- Support children and youth in accessing their community and participating in activities as inclusively as their peers.
- Facilitate socializing and relationship-building in various settings.
- Assist children in learning everyday tasks like brushing their teeth, tying shoes, preparing snacks or meals, and managing emotional regulation.
- Provide services primarily after school between 2:45-8 PM, with the flexibility to adjust based on client needs. Daytime hours are available during holidays and summer vacations.
- Provide personalized, 1:1 support within the client's home and the nearby community. Safely transport clients using your reliable personal vehicle.
- Adhere to and implement the individualized treatment plan.
- Fill out daily progress notes.
Requirements: (We will provide CPR/First Aid Training Blood Borne Pathogens)
- Clean driving record and successful background check
- Active motor vehicle insurance and registration
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
-Current CPR certification
-Blood Borne Pathogens certification
-One year of verifiable experience working with youth and children with cognitive and behavioral support needs.
-BHP certification (will train qualified applicants)
-Must obtain commercial auto insurance
