What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach and Enrollment Specialist position at Diversity Health Center, Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY
Serves as the initial and main point of outreach contact between Diversity Health Center, Inc. with current and potential members. Will work in service areas defined as: Liberty, Long, and Wayne, counties. Represents the organization for a variety of community resources to increase awareness and promote support for comprehensive and sustained community programs designed and targeted to meet the primary health care needs of underserved Georgia populations. Responsible for performing secretarial office functions in an assigned department, including greeting patients, answering phones and scheduling appointments. Perform intake process on all new and renewal patients of Diversity Health Center. Conduct public education activities to raise awareness about coverage options available under Medicaid, CHIP, and the Marketplace.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires an Associates degree or five years experience in a healthcare environment. Must have a GA Resident Navigator license or the ability to obtain one upon hire. Resident Navigator license must be successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include evening and weekends at community events. Current CPR/BLS certification.
