Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities
- Must have experience operating a Horizontal Boring Mill
- Must have blueprint reading experience to fabricate parts, tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Must have an understanding of the Tooling needed to machine parts
- Must be a problem solver – understanding and use of Math, to be able to research information in the Machinery Handbook, that applies to tasks running across this work center, Parts are small and large, Machining Tolerances are sometimes (.015 -/.0005 -)
- Maintains quality output while meeting department production requirements
- Must have good knowledge of machining practices
- Must have reading comprehension skills to understand work orders, written instructions, and drawings
- Must have mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
II. Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3 – 5 years of machining experience with drill press machines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
