As a Human Resource Business Partner, you will be a key member of the HR team, providing comprehensive support to our salaried employees across North America. You will partner with business leaders to implement and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, recruitment, retention and engagement, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Partnership :
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, its metrics, strategies, and goals, translating them into HR support needs.
  • Partner with managers to develop and implement HR solutions aligned with corporate policies, best practices, and legal compliance.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
  • Influence and strategically solve complex problems, aligning HR deliverables with business needs.
  • Talent Management :
  • Oversee the talent management process, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
  • Drive performance management initiatives, ensuring consistent utilization of tools and assessments.
  • Develop and implement a recruiting strategy to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Support leadership in creating a high-level of employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations :
  • Develop and implement sound employee relations policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in handling employee relations issues.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations concerns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • HR Operations :
  • Identify and prioritize HR processes, policies, and procedures that need to be streamlined, standardized, or automated.
  • Work with hiring managers to deliver employee lifecycle events, such as onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive best practices and manage HR projects to completion.
  • Partner with management on special projects or significant HR-related issues.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience : 5 years of progressive HR experience as a Generalist or HRBP supporting business teams.
  • Skills :
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.
  • Excellent consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
  • PHR / SPHR certification preferred.
