CNC Mechanical & Electrical Technician
Location: West Columbia, SC
The client is hiring an experienced CNC Mechanical & Electrical Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC and PLC-controlled machines. If you have strong mechanical and electrical skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair CNC & manual machines, PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulics Read & interpret mechanical prints and electrical schematics
Perform electrical repairs (480V and down), wiring, and circuit troubleshooting
Use voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to test & repair systems
Ensure routine maintenance and safety compliance
Qualifications:
Education: 2-year Electrical Trade School, Associate’s Degree, or Military Electrical Training
Experience:
- 7–10 years troubleshooting & repairing CNC machines (Haas, Doosan, Mazak preferred)
- 5 years in industrial maintenance
- Familiarity with NEC and electrical codes a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift
