Position Description:
Responsible for shipping and receiving functions within the sequencing department
Essential Functions:
- Loading and unloading trailers with the use of a sit-down forklift
- Must demonstrate attention to detail verifying sequence numbers and colors
- Responsible for accurate record keeping of shipments
- Communicate and coordinate orders with team leader and drivers
- Ensures 5S within the sequencing department
- Accountable for safe and efficient operation of all equipment is a must
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Experience & Skills
· Forklift Experience required
· Demonstrated knowledge of processes, procedures, and Standardized Work.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner
· Must be able to efficiently work in a fast-paced work environment
· Ability to work within a Team Environment
· Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and customers
Physical Demands
· Must be able to work 8-10 hour shifts
· Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop frequently
· Must be able to lift and move up to 250 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
