Job Summary
The translator is responsible for accurately translating English/ Creole to members of all levels in the organization and in all aspects of manufacturing.
Gold Shift Shedule: 7:15pm - 4:00am OT
Duties & Responsibilities
- Translate all employment documentation, policies, training, and other various communication during the New Hire Orientation presentation
- Translate any questions, concerns, and all other communication for team members
- Assist with creating documents, instructions, flyers, other forms in Creole
- Assist trainers with training new hires on processes
- Perform quality audits in downtime or as needed
- Understand and considers cultural differences and nuances to produce translations that are culturally appropriate and sensitive
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while translating and interpreting employee information
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality as required
- Performs other duties as required
Job Qualifications
Experience
- Related experience preferred, not required
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, Verbally and Writing
- Ability to communicate effectively in Creole, Verbally and Writing
- Strong confidentiality skills
