Now, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager with the grit, vision, and curiosity to help us scale even further.
Your Mission: Grow Impact, One Customer at a Time
As a key member of our Industrials team, you’ll lead new business efforts across sectors like food & beverage manufacturing, distribution, and beyond. You won’t just be selling—you’ll be building strategic partnerships, unlocking new markets, and helping shape how businesses think about waste, sustainability, and energy.
This is a high-ownership, high-impact role reporting to the Director of Business Development and facilitating Commercial Operations and New Program Launches by working out of the Turlock, CA RNG facility and collaborating directly with colleagues across Operations, Engineering and Transportation.
What You’ll Do
- Discover Untapped Markets – Explore customer verticals across Central Valley, CA and help refine our value proposition to meet real-world industrial needs.
- Drive New Business – Identify, qualify, and close deals with key stakeholders, turning complex problems into win-win solutions.
- Be the Voice of the Customer – Channel insights from the field into internal teams to help us improve our products, messaging, and strategy.
- Grow What You Build – Nurture relationships and expand business within your accounts through trust, innovation, and consistent delivery.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, customer discovery, or project execution
- OR 1–3 years in energy, recycling, food & beverage, logistics, or related industries (experience with renewables is a plus)
- Strong communication skills and empathy across diverse stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with proven success using data to drive decisions
- Self-starter attitude with attention to detail and urgency
- Comfortable with standard business tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Bonus Points If You Have
- Hands-on experience in physical operations (e.g., plant or manufacturing settings)
- A bias for action in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
- A passion for sustainability, the circular economy, or waste-to-energy solutions
- Proven ability to build a pipeline, nurture relationships, and close deals
