We need an on-site Power BI Developer—to help us unlock the full potential of our data and drive meaningful change.
Your Impact
As a Power BI Developer, you will be at the center of Divert’s mission, in office 3 - 5 days every week, working closely with stakeholders and building scalable reporting and data visualization solutions that power business decisions and drive environmental impact. You will:
- Turn Data into Action – Transform complex datasets into meaningful insights that guide sustainability-driven strategies.
- Build for the Future – Develop and enhance our company-wide reporting platform, ensuring scalability and efficiency as we grow.
- Be a Data Champion – Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize reporting, improve data integrity, and enhance decision-making.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Power BI Development – Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights.
- Drive Business Intelligence Strategy – Work with stakeholders to translate data needs into scalable reporting solutions.
- Enhance Data Integrity – Improve data models, integration processes, and business metric accuracy.
- Collaborate & Innovate – Partner with teams across the company to unlock the power of data in operations, logistics, and sustainability initiatives.
- Meet 3 days/week - Face-time with your team is crucial to your success, ideally 3 - 4 days/week collaborating in our Concord, MA offices is required
Breakdown of Responsibilities:
60% – Power BI development: report/dashboard creation, data transformation, and visualization.
20% – Data analysis, identifying process improvements, and optimizing reporting strategies.
10% – Data governance, ensuring accuracy and integrity of key business metrics.
10% – Troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts.
What You Bring
- Data Storytelling – Ability to translate raw data into actionable insights that drive impact.
- Power BI Expertise – 2 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
- Business Intelligence Know-How – 6 years in BI, data analytics, or reporting roles.
- Technical Chops – Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes (bonus points for experience with Snowflake, Dataverse, or other data platforms).
- Problem-Solving Mindset – Analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Collaborative Spirit – Strong communicator who can work across teams to drive data-driven solutions.
- Residing in Greater Boston - this is not a remote role, we require an in-office presence 3-5 days/week.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
