Description:
- The MT&E group is looking for a Clean Room Consultant/SME who has flexibility to consult on an as needed basis.
- Depending on the project, hours may increase and travel be needed to Client locations. This position would be great for a retiree who is very flexible.
- Bachelors is a minimum requirement. Candidates must have Project Management experience in design, build, and installation of clean rooms.
Scope of Position:
To serve as an engineering SME on projects related to the design, build, installation, or modification of process clean or dry rooms.
Provide Clean or Dry Room engineering & project leadership in a corporate engineering group that supports all divisions within client.
Apply Clean Room fundamental engineering principles as they relate to the US (Class) and International (ISO) level to meet the process equipment humidity requirements.
Apply HVAC fundamental engineering principles to develop, design & resolve solutions for a new or updated Clean / Dry Room design for process equipment.
Develop criteria and specifications for Clean / Dry Room equipment, systems & processes.
Collectively work with division, process, plant & R&D resources on project teams.
Develop, review & forecast capital & expense design, equipment & installation project costs with Clean / Dry Room providers.
Required Education:
BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
Required Skils/ Experience:
5 years of Clean / Dry Room engineering & professional work experience.
Knowledge and ability to effectively apply key design principles of cleanrooms including air filtration, air pressure control, and temperature and humidity control.
Experience with classes of cleanrooms and ISO Standards
Excellent project leadership with HVAC engineering, installation and start-up experience
Able to apply Clean / Dry Room, HVAC & Mechanical engineering principles to concepts, designs, trouble shooting and solving problems.
Project estimating, forecasting and scheduling experience.
Problem solving skills and the use of structured methods
Desired Skills:
Proficient in MS Project & SharePoint
Experience with AutoCad and Solidworks
Professional Engineering Certification
PMI certification
Travel Requirements:
Travel may be needed dependent on project
