- The candidate will handle several initiatives (migrations, installations, supporting the existing ECC environment, archiving existing functionalities, working on implementing new functionalities, etc.).
- Looking for someone with architect-level experience with a good understanding of how the roles are built with some GRC experience as well.
- Need a minimum of 10 years in SAP Security Architecture.
- Healthcare industry preferred, but not required.
- Security Specialists should be the primary liaison between Functional teams and process owners.
- Understanding of global security requirements including local privacy laws.
- Work directly with functional teams to understand the business case and requirements to solve technology-related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and guide the security team to deliver global solutions.
- Understanding Archiving tools and underlying functional transactions in depth.
- In-depth understanding of security authorizations and cross-functional impact
- Cross-pollination and expertise in SOD
- Expertise in GRC Rule set updates and impact to existing roles and users
- Assist in proof of concepts with process teams to meet business requirements considering the overall security architecture of the system.
- Provide support for defined SAP projects adhering to the Client's overall SAP strategy.
- As directed by the security manager conduct investigation and give technical advice to the adoption or integration of new technologies or alternative approaches and their business impact on SAP landscapes.
- Applies and executes standard information systems theories, concepts and techniques and assists in the development of standards and procedures
- Ability to coordinate with external partners and suppliers.
- Ability to lead requirements gathering workshops for project scoping and estimate.
- Ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects Global projects.
- Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Responsible for technical configuration/code review/solution testing, user training, and hypercare support.
- Serve as technical expert or lead projects/programs and technical staff to develop, test and implement significant new solutions.
- Improvements or devise new approaches to problems at the division/business unit.
- Evaluate & recommend new software, utilities, and tools. In specialized systems (i.e. SAP) effectively set options to change the way the program works (configuration responsibilities).
- Responsible for all project documentation delivery (Change request, testing, system validation)
- Degree in IT and/or complimentary business degree.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
- At least 10-13 years of experience in SAP Security, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Problem determination (experience in root cause analysis) and problem resolution skills.
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to senior leaders.
- Knowledge of business environment, service requirements and culture.
- An understanding of process costs, the ability to work with the Service Provider to ensure effective operations and agreed-upon service levels.
- Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships.
- Ability to be firm but fair about operational deliverables.
